Mary Black

Mary Virginia Black, 89, died at her home in Port Orchard on September 17, 2009.  She was born April 10, 1920 in Elm Grove, West Virginia to Lionel & Margaret (Chambers) Wilson.  She married Victor R. Black on June 10, 1937 in West Virginia.  He preceded her in death in 1993   Mary was a homemaker and mother who enjoyed sewing and her cat "Babe Babe".   Surviving are son Domer (Alice Jane) Black of Bishop, Texas; daughter Sherry (Les) Campbell of Port Orchard; 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, & 9 great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by son Thomas Black and grandson Vincent Black.    Celebration of Life Service at 2:00pm on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard.  Graveside Service at 3:00pm on Friday, September 25, 2009 at Seaside Memorial Park in Corpus Christi, Texas.
