Mary Carr

Mary Elizabeth (Shea) Carr died of natural causes at Ridgemont Terrace in Port Orchard, Washington May 1, 2003. She was 94.She was born in Providence, Rhode Island April 15, 1909 to John and Maria (Cronan) Shea. She married George A. Carr, Sr. November 24, 1936.She attended school through the 9th grade.Mary was a homemaker in the family home.She enjoyed hunting and fishing with her husband.Mary was a member of St. Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by son - George A. Carr (& wife, Joan) of Port Orchard, Washington; 1 granddaughter, J'aime Rushton (& husband, Jim); 2 great-grandchildren, Kenny and Jack Rushton of Naples, Italy.The family wishes to extend their heart-felt appreciation to Mellie Navarro - her caregiver for many years.A Rosary will be held at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center at 9:30 a.m. on May 3, 2003.
