Mary Deisler

Mary Ellen Deisler of Port Orchard, Washington died in Seattle, Washington January 19, 2005 due to a short term illness. She was 82. She was born December 7, 1922 to Ernest E. and Mary Ellen (Mamie) Coles. She graduated from South Kitsap High School in Port Orchard, Washington in 1941; and from Bremerton Business College in 1942. Mary was a waitress working at "Lets Eat Cafe", Pilgrims' Firs and Myhres. She owned and operated Cottage Cafe with her parents for 10 years (all in Port Orchard). She was still working at Myhres. She enjoyed working in her yard; loved people, cleaning her home, flowers and family. She was a good cook. Mary was a member of the Catholic Church. She is survived by daughters - Marilyn McDonald of Port Orchard, Washington, Penny Benetazzo of Chicago, Illinois; sister - Catherine Anderson of South Colby, Washington; 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 2 great/great-grandhildren. Visitations will be held Tuesday, January 25, 2005 from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Wednesday, January 26, 2005 from 9:00 a.m. - service. A funeral will be held at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, Washington on Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to: Donor's Charity of Choice.
