Mary "Ruth" Estep died May 29, 2002 at Trails End Lake, Belfair, WA. She was 83.She was born in Wilcox, NE January 30, 1919 to Eber and Mary Francis "Mamie" (Hopkins) Cory.She graduated from high school, and attended senior computing classes and various quilting classes after age 75.She married Arthur Ray Estep in Idaho on September 2, 1938.Mary was a Tupperware manager. She became a "Tupperware Lady" in 1956 and remained active until 1994 when she began a new career as "Office Assistant' at age 75, at her daughter Lillian's law office. She was in Tupperware for 38 years, in office for 4 years. Her secondary career as Pastor "Art" Estep's wife, with all of the duties and joys of sheparding a small congregation for over 40 years at the Port Orchard "Church of God Seventh Day" on Cedar Road.Church activities, sewing, gardening, baking bread and tempting goodies, family and friends were her interests.Her religious membership was with Church of God Seventh Day, Port Orchard, WA. - Pastor's wife for 40 plus years.She is survived by son Darrell Allen Estep of Port Orchard, WA., Harold "Hal" Arthur Estep of Puyallup, WA., Virgil Arnold Estep, Puyallup, WA., Paul Alvin Estep, Port Orchard, WA., daughter Lillian Ruth Schauer of Port Orchard, WA., brother Marvin Cory of Auburn, WA., 18 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by husband Arthur Ray Estep, siblings: Fred Cory, Vera Cory Brittain, Fleet Cory and Marion Cory.A memorial service will be held at Rill Chapel Monday June 3, 2002 at 6:30 p.m.
