Mary Harsche

Mary Schweigert Harsche died September 4, 2003 at Manor Care, Gig Harbor, Washington. She was 93. She was born November 27, 1909 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada to John and Eva (Denhoff) Spielman.She married Henry Schweigert in 1927. He died in 1958. She married Michael Harsche.Mary was a homemaker.She held many different offices in both Purple Heart and Fleet Reserve and was very proud of her pioneer background. She enjoyed spending time with her son and 3 granddaughters;and, also enjoyed gardening.Mary is survived by her son - Ray Schweigert of Belfair, Washington; 3 grandchildren (Kris Boyle of Belfair, Trina Carlson of Bremerton and Kerry Schweigert of Port Orchard); 4 great-grandchildren (Brittany Litaker, Mikey Boyle, John Carlson and Kevin Carlson).A visitation will be held at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. Thursday, September 11, 2003.A reception/gathering will be held at the Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center Hospitality Room at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 11, 2003.
