Mary Johnson

Mary Kathleen Johnson, 89, died on January 1, 1999 at Mason General Hospital.  She was born on February 26, 1909 in Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada to George and Mary Jane (Downey) Hopwood.  She was raised and attended school in Vancouver, British Columbia.  She married Corey Johnson in 1931, he preceeded her in death in 1986.  Mrs. Johnson worked as a Bookkeeper for Fernwood Appliance Repair for over 40 years.Survived by daughters Karen Pierson of Olalla and Georgina Nelson of Allyn; brother Victor Hopwood of Vancouver, B.C.; 6 Grandchildren; and 3 Great-Grandchildren.  Inurnment will be at Colby Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be made to North Mason Foodbank.
