Mary Louise Klinger, 81, died at home in Port Orchard, Washington on June 14, 2008. She was born August 15, 1926 in Minneapolis, MN to Peter & Leah (LaFerrier) Klaesges. She married Harry Klinger in 1952. He preceded her in death in 1985. Mary worked for Disneyland Custodial Service in Anaheim, CA for 14 years, retiring in 1987. She also worked as a Domestic Engineer for 22 years. Mary was a talented Artist with oils and pastels, and loved to garden and landscape yards. She was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Port Orchard. Surviving are sons Richard A. Klinger of Port Orchard, Peter C. (Nita) Klinger of Port Orchard; daughter Doris (Terry) Troxel of Ontario, CA; sisters Pat Day of Carson City, CA and Joan French of Sierra Madre, CA, grandchildren Chay Erik (Doreen) Klinger & Chad Alan (Mica Hall) Klinger; great-grandchildren Tristan, Gavin, Isabel & Shayna; and very dear friends George & Irene Carr and Jean Washiko. She was preceded in death by brother Bill Klaesges & son James Klinger. Funeral Mass at Noon on June 23, 2008 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Port Orchard with interment following at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard.
