Mary Larson died peacefully in her sleep on February 18, 2008 in Port Orchard. She was born to Vincenzo & Michelina Zaccagnini on Sept 19th, 1923 in Port Orchard, Washington. She attended South Kitsap Schools and graduated from South Kitsap High School in 1941. After graduation she attended and graduated from Bremerton Business College and went to work as a Chief Deputy Treasurer at the Kitsap County Court house where she worked for 27 years until her retirement in 1975. She married Earl Larson On December 13, 1947 and later gave birth to two sons, Kenneth and James. Mary was active in many clubs and organizations, TOPS, bowling, Silver Sneakers, Sons of Norway and Red Hat Society. She was a member of the Gig Harbor Nazarene Church, and previously PO Nazarene. She was preceded in death by husband Earl Larson in 2001 and brothers, Henry, Dominic, Ralph, Casey and Bruno Zaccagnini. She is survived by sons, Kenneth (Barbara) of Saugerties, New York, and James (Cheryl) Larson of Port Orchard; grandsons Aaron and Michael Larson and Peter Larson; and 5 great grandchildren, and many friends & relatives who knew and loved her. Please visit with the family on Thursday, Feb. 21, from 6 to 8pm at Rill's Tribute Center in Port Orchard. Services will be held on Friday, February 22, 2008 at 3:00 pm at Rill's Tribute Center. A reception will follow in the Hospitality Room. Inurnment at Haven of Rest in Gig Harbor.
