Mary Kathryn was born in Puyallup, WA to Robert and Mildred Scott on June 26th, 1936. When she was 15, she and Warren Pitt fell deeply in love, and they were married on March 16, 1952. It was the start of her very own adventure that would involve welcoming five daughters in six years. Mary was one of the youngest women in WA to get her GED and later became the first woman to graduate through the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard welding program. She also owned a working farm, obtained her pilot's license at 40 years of age, and went skydiving for her 80th birthday.
Mary showed us all what it means to live life to the fullest, and although she had many hobbies; including gardening, reading, traveling, loafing, and drinking Diet Coke; the biggest love in her life was her family. Grandma Mary is survived by her sister, Anna Scott; Mary Roth; her daughters; Karen Pitt, Arleen Nicholson, DiAnna and Gary Lanskey, Donna and Don Park, and Jeanne and Lou Fattrusso; her grandchildren; Sarah and James Shepard, Billy and Amy Barr, Victor Barr, Joe and Emily Fattrusso, Billy and Ashley Nicholson, Jaimee and Jason Saling, Jeanette and Jeremiah Baird, Samantha Nachbar, Rebecca Neal, David and Stephanie Lanskey, James and Krystal Fattrusso, Edward and Carolie Nicholson, and Christina and Skyler Nemier.
