Mary Helen Redfearn passed away on September 2, 2008 at Willow Creek Family Home in Port Orchard, WA. She was born May 20, 1924 in Kalispell, MT to Albert & Fannie (Collins) Lawlor, the seventh of eight children. She grew up in Kalispell and attended Flathead Lake H.S. there. During WWII she moved to Seattle where she worked for the Army Corp of Engineers. In November of 1945 she married Homer Redfearn and moved to the San Francisco bay area, they had one child, James Everett Redfearn. In 1965 Mary and Homer divorced and she continued to live in Daly City, CA. Mary had a long career as a postal employee in San Francisco, retiring in 1986. In June 2005 due to poor health, and after suffering a stroke, she moved to Port Orchard, WA to be near her son James and his wife Janet. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and her seven brothers. She leaves behind her son James and Janet (Brooks) Redfearn; three grandchildren Kathryn Amy Byrd of Puyallup, WA, Brian James Redfearn, of Port Orchard, WA, and Michael Thomas Redfearn, of Yakima, WA; one great grandchild Michael James Schweedler. She will be deeply missed by all.
