Mary Ringos, 94 of Port Orchard, Washington died at Cottesmore of Life Care Center in Gig Harbor, Washington on July 24, 2006. She was born on June 8, 1912 in Paradise, California to Leon & Jessie (Haney) Smithlin. She married Emery Ringos in Tacoma, Washington on January 12, 1935. Mary was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, sewing, and loved to play cards. She was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church and was the President of the Alter Society. Surviving are son James Ringos of Belfair, Washington; daughters Jeanne Bush of Issaquah, Washington, Nancy Schauer and Carol Murphy, both of Port Orchard; sisters Verna Allerdings of Dayton, Washington and Cora (Dick) Larson of Tacoma, Washington; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers Harold, John & Donald Smithlin and sister Iva Miller. A Rosary Service will be at 10:30 am on Friday, August 4, 2006 at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard with interment following at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard.
