With gratitude to God, Steve and I give tribute to Mom & Dad. Mother could not stand one more holiday without Dad, and went to be with him on Thanksgiving Day. Since Dad's passing in November of 1994, she has longed to be with him. They met across a college campus. Mother was seventeen and Dad eighteen. A vanilla ice cream cone brought them together. There was truly no greater love between husband and wife than they felt for each other. They both loved us unconditionally. And taught us humor, love, kindness and hard work. Shortly before Dad's death, when he himself was tired and ill, caring for our frail Mother, Dad told me that 'She is more beautiful to me today then the day I married her.'Now, because of her faith, the Lord came to call her home. Greeting her at her bedside, Dad, young and strong beside him, carrying another ice cream cone and a bouquet of Delphiniums. Mom & Dad, thank you for things to numerous too mention. We love you.Until We Meet Again,Susan & Steve
