Masaru Mikami

Masaru "Mike" Mikami died September 20, 2002 at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton, Washington. He was 68.He was born November 4, 1933 in Waipahu, Hawaiiu to Shigeru and Momoyo Mikami.He graduated from high school in Hawaii and attended college there as well.Mike married Shizue (Oshiro) Mikami June 26, 1967 in Okinawa, Japan.He was an an Electronic Technician with the U.S. Civil Service in Okinawa, Japan for 30 years - retiring in 1991.He enjoyed squiding, fishing and crabbing.He is survived by his wife, Shizue (Oshiro) Mikami, of Port Orchard, Washington; sons Eric Mikami of Okinawa, Japan and Ernest Mikami of Bellevue, Washington; brother Mitsuru Mikami.A memorial service will be held at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard, Washington on Wednesday September 25, 2002 at 7:30 p.m.
