Maureen Batson

Maureen Ann (Langdon) Batson, 59, passed away Friday October 7. She was raised on Capitol Hill and attended St. Joesph's and Immaculate Conception. She was the loving wife of Bob Batson. They celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary in March of this year. Maureen loved to read, bake and garden. She and Bob enjoyed travelling and vacationed in Costa Rica twice in the past year.  Maureen is preceded in death by her parents Tom and Helen Langdon.  She is survived by her husband Bob; son Kurt (Jessica);  daughter Lian (Patrick);  grandchildren Tommy and Langdon Joseph (LJ); 5 sisters, 4 brothers, her sister and brother- in- laws, and her many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at noon on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Rill’s Life Tribute Center, 1151 Mitchell Avenue in Port Orchard.  A reception will follow at the Batson residence.  Online memorial at www.rill.com
