Maurice Otterbeck

Our Patriarch, Maurice W. Otterbeck, has passed on - but not without creating a lasting legacy. Maurice passed away quietly in his Port Orchard home on February 11, 2004 surrounded byhis loving family. Our lives are less complete without him. Maurice was born in St. Helena, California on July 14, 1911. In his early years Maurice worked as a loborer, and a hod carrier. In 1936, Maurice went to work for the Department of Navy at Mare Island, where he worked for approximately 17 years, mostly in Stores and Supply. entrepreneurial adventure in his own trucking company
