Maxine Cabrera Grant died May 5, 2003 at her Port Orchard, Washington residence. She was 64.She was born June 8, 1938 in Ojo Redondo, New Mexico to Luis and Dorotea (Marcias) Cabrera.She graduated from Grants High School of Grants, New Mexico; and, also, graduated from St. Joseph's On The Rio Grande in Albuquerque, New Mexico.Ana married Richard A. (Dick) Grant August 5, 1961 in Grants, New Mexico.She was a teacher and homemaker.Ana was an author of children's books, was a member of the Children's Hospital Guild.She was a member of St. Leo's Catholic Church in Tacoma, Washington.Ana is survived by her husband, Richard (Dick) Grant, of the family home in Port Orchard, Washington; daughters - Anita Grant of India; Shannon Grant of Portland, Oregon; Emily and Amanda Grant of Port Orchard, Washington; granddaughter - Nicole Grant of Silverdale, Washington; son - Rick Grant; brother - Pat Cabrera (& wife, Cidi) of Grants, New Mexico; sister - Romana Welch (& husband, Bill ) of Missouri.
