Maxine Alma Winter

Maxine A. Winter, 92, formerly of Port Orchard, died in Kent, WA of natural causes on November 9, 2020. She was born September 17, 1928 in Spirit Lake, Idaho to William and Emmagene (Scribner) Kamholtz. Maxine spent her early years in Spirit Lake and Mullan, Idaho before moving with her family to Port Orchard during World War II, where she graduated from South Kitsap High School in 1946. She married Donald T. Winter on May 3, 1952 at First Christian Church in Port Orchard.

Maxine was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Donald, and her sisters Shirley Reeves and Marjorie Roberts. She is survived by her sons William Winter (Miriam Uhlig) of Seattle and Dale Winter (Deb) of Snoqualmie, and by her granddaughters Kirsten and Kayla Winter, both of San Diego.
