Melody Hillis

Melody Jewell Hillis, 68, died at her home in Port Orchard on February 3, 2011.  She was born September 28, 1942 in Phoenix, AZ to Byron & Hazel (Cox) Frankenfield.  She married Blaine J. Hillis in Phoenix in 1958.  Melody was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting, casino’s, bingo, and her grandkids. Surviving are husband Blaine; son Blaine (Bonnie) Hillis of Port Orchard; daughters Terry York-Hillis, Lora (Jeff) Logudice & Sherry (Al) Johnson, all of Port Orchard; sisters Lela Releford of Olalla, Janet Harrell (Myron Gibbs) of GA, Linda Madding of Auburn & Evelyn Hernandez of Port Orchard; 14 grandchildren & 14 great-grandchildren.  Private family service.
