Mercy Furusho

Mercy A. Furusho, 52, a resident of Bremerton, died peacefully at home in her sleep of a heart condition. She was born in the Philippine Islands April 2, 1958 to Alberto and Jovencia Abalos. She was one of ten children. She married Harry Furusho in Olongapo City, Philippines on June 23, 1990.  She was an excellent cook and extremely handy around the home, enjoying decorating and home improvement. She loved gardening and landscaping and outdoors things like salmon fishing and crabbing. Her very favorite thing in life was taking care of her family. She was preceded in death by her brother Rusty Abolos. She is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Harry Furusho; sons Eric Abalos (Amber), Albert, Harry and Daryl Furusho; daughter Tracy Marcos (Greg); brothers Samuel, Ludy and Alberto Abalos; Sisters Josie Allen (Mike), Lilian Barillo, Marylin Bungar, Sarah Abalos and Jovie Deleon and two grandchildren Gunnar and Alyssa. There will be visitation on Saturday, February 26, 2011 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm followed by a celebration of her life 2:00 pm, both at Rill’s Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard.
