Michael Heinrich

Michael D. Heinrich, 66 of Port Orchard died August 5, 2008.  He was born March 17, 1942 in Portland, Oregon to Frank & Iris (Cooper) Heinrich.  He married Pamela McCary on May 21, 1971 in Port Orchard.  Michael worked for 20 years as a Commercial HVAC Technician, and the last 10 years  with United Systems Mechanical in Seattle, retiring in 2006.  He also served in the U.S. Navy. Michael loved horseback riding, hiking, camping and fishing.  He spent many years as a Scout Leader in Port Orchard and was a big supporter of Boy Scouts of America. Surviving are wife Pamela; son Frank (Renada) Heinrich of Port Orchard, brother Dick (Judy) Heinrich of Arizona; sisters Cynthia (Barry) Roquette of Wyoming and Pat (Mark) Miller of Nevada; father & mother-in-law Jim & Virginia McCary; and brother & sister-in-law Jim & Donna McCary. A Celebration of Mike's Life will be held at 4330 Bethel Road, Port Orchard on Sunday, August 10th at 2:00 pm.   Private family graveside service is planned.  Memorial donations to BSA, Friends of Scouting, 1900 Austin Drive, Bremerton WA 98312.
