Michael Hoskins

Michael Vern Hoskins, 52, of Port Orchard died April 27th at Harrison Medical Center of Cancer. Michael was born June 1, 1958 in Bremerton to Vernie & Sharon (Snow) Hoskins. In 1976 he graduated from South Kitsap HS where he was a proud SK Wolf and went on to attend Central Washington University and Olympic College.  Michael worked in the family business  - Vern’s Roofing & Fencing. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias, Port Orchard Eagles, was past president of the Gold Mountain men’s club, a SK Eastern Little League coach and a Grand Marshall of Fathom’s of Fun. He loved golf, baseball and just helping people. On February 12, 2011 he married Stacie Hyde in Port Orchard.  Survivors include his wife Stacie Hyde-Hoskins, his mother Sharon Hoskins, 2 sons- Craig (Nichole) & Shawon Hoskins, 3 brothers-Mark, Matt (Cheryl) & Murray (Brenda)Hoskins, a sister Cindy Carinci, 2 Granddaughters Acacia & Allia Hoskins and several nieces & nephews.   A Celebration of Life will be 6pm Tuesday May 3rd at Rill’s Life Tribute Center.  Memorials can be sent to SK Eastern Little League or the Junior Association of Golf.
