Michael Craig Robinson died October 21, 2003 at Tacoma General Hospital in Tacoma, Washington, from heart failure. He was 41.He was born February 23, 1962 in Vancouver, Washington to Dean and Sharla (Teasdale) Robinson.He graduated from South Kitsap High School in Port Orchard, Washington in 1980 and then from the University of Washington in 1984 with a chemistry degree.Mike worked for Norm Olson and Associates in Port Orchard for a number of years and was just starting his own company "Carpentry Plus".He loved the outdoors, especially spending time at Lake Cushman. Mike enjoyed fishing and boating and was known as the best golfer in the family.Mike is survived by his beloved companion, Trish Walton, of Port Orchard; father and step-mother, Dean and Cindy Robinson, of Port Orchard; brother Jeff Robinson of Port Orchard; step-brother Bobby Turk (& wife, Nancy) of Elma, Washington; sisters Sheryl Belt of Carnation, Washington, Kristi Drake (& husband, Tom) of Murrieta, California; step-sister Bonnie Shamion (& husband, Mark) of Port Orchard; numerous nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his mother Sharla Robinson (1995).A memorial service will be held at First Lutheran Church in Port Orchard at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2003.Memorial Donations may be made to:American Heart Association4414 Woodland Park Ave N.Seattle, WA 98103.
