Mildred Allen

Mildred T. Allen, 86 of Port Orchard, Washington, died November 16, 2000 at Port Orchard Care Center. She was born on October 31, 1914 in St. Louis, Missouri to Carl & Freda (Meyke) Lind. Mildred graduated from Inglewood High School in Inglewood, California and from the University of Southern California at Los Angeles with a degree in Nursing.Mildred was a Registered Nurse at Pomona Valley Community Hospital, retiring in 1980. She enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas and gardening.Surviving are her son Robert Allen of Port Orchard; sister Dorothy Tygrett of San Jose, California; 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.Memorial Service will be at Port Orchard Care Center on Tuesday, December 5, 2000 at 2:00pm. Inurnment will be at Inglewood Cemetery in Inglewood, California.
