Mildred Griffin

Mildred C. Griffin, 89 of Port Orchard died March 30, 1999 at Port Orchard Care Center.  She was born July 8, 1909 in Toledo, Ohio to Frank A. & Ida May (Woods) Georgia.  She was raised in Toledo and in Laramie, Wyoming. She married William W. Griffin on December 20,1926 in Santa Ana, California.  He preceded her in death in 1983.Mrs. Griffin  was a homemaker and was employed for McKeresson & Robins drug company from 1942 to 1943.  She was a Red Cross volunteer in Korea from 1962 to 1964.Surviving are daughter Margaret C. Adams of Port Orchard; grandchildren Linda Legault of Bellingham, William Glen Kelso of Bellingham, and Kathryn Payne of Bellingham; step grandchildren Carleton Adams of Port Orchard, Carl Adams of Bellingham, Deborah O'Keefe of Bremerton, and Michael Adams of Tacoma.Memorial Service Saturday April 3, 1999 at 2:00 PM at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard.  Memorial donations may be made to Port Orchard Care Center or the Diabetes Association.
