Mildred Price

Mildred Price was born November 29, 1924 in Bridgeport, NE to Martha and Guy Hart.  She was raised in Commerce, Oklahoma. Mildred married Melvin Price June 16, 1944 in Commerce, OK.  They set out to settle in Port Orchard in 1945 and endeavored in mink ranching for almost two decades.  She was a past worthy matron of Port Orchard Chapter #44 of the Order of Eastern Star and a member of the Evergreen Baptist Church.  Mildred was also an avid spiritual poet. Mildred is survived by her husband, Melvin Price, son David Price, daughter, Melvadene Gabrilski, sisters Margaret Lester and Helen Feaster, grandchild, James Natland, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Public visitation will be 12/20/98 from 1-3 p.m. at Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel, Port Orchard, WA.  There will be a private family service 12/21/98 at Sunset Lane Cemetery, Port ORchard, WA.
