Mildred Sylvester

Mildred ''Millie'' Sylvester, 69 of Port Orchard, Washington died at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton, Washington. She was born on October 15, 1931 in Juneau, Alaska to William & Margaret (Hodnett) Harris. Millie married Robert Sylvester on June 4, 1970 in Port Orchard.Mrs. Sylvester worked for 20 years as a Ward Messenger at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton, retiring in 1998. Surviving are her husband Robert; son Randy Sylvester of New Iberia, Louisianna; daughters Cheryl Larson and Cindy Streutker, both of Port Orchard; brothers Casey Harris of Portland, Oregon and Johnny Harris of Alaska; sisters Debbie Harris of Alaska and Bunny Tanner of Hoquium, Washington; and 8 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers Richard, Freddy, and Robert; and sisters Margaret and Martha.Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2001 at 2:30pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Port Orchard.
