Mildred Ruby Tidd, 86, of Port Orchard died of natural causes November 21 at the Life Care Center of Port Orchard. She was born in Lead, S.D., to Henry Walford and Anna Marie (Lindell) Harbeck. She attended Lead High School in Lead. On February 8, 1941, she married Charles Ellsworth Tidd in Las Vegas. Mrs. Tidd was a homemaker. She did in-home sales with her husband. They sold various sewage treatment products. She was born and raised a Christian Scientist. She and her husband helped found and suppport the 14th Church of Christ Scientist. She served on the election board for many years. She loved to read her Bible; and, to garden. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Alvin and Floyd; and sisters, Violet and Florence. Survivors include her son, Lindell (Beverly) Scott Tidd; a daughter, Barbara (Louis G.) Tidd Hyneck; six grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. Services: Private.
