Milton Lowell McConnell passed away March 1, 2010 at Harrison Medical Center. Milton was born June 2, 1925 to parents Edward and Ida (Davis) McConnell of Brewster, WA. In October of 1967 he married Camille A. Furrer in Reno, NV. Milton was a proud veteran having served in the Navy during WWII as a lower gunner on a B-17 bomber. He retired as Assistant Chief of Police after a 30-year career at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, then went on to become a licensed realtor. He was a lifelong member of the Masonic Lodge. Milton loved wintering in California, traveling, trailering, working around his home, being with his family and especially his children. He was a wonderful father and will be dearly missed. Milton was preceded in death by grandson Ryan Shawn McConnell and grandson Nathan Mathew Joyce. He is survived by his wife Camille, two sons, Harry (Pauline) McConnell and Dale (Charlene) McConnell, a daughter Susan (Mathew) Joyce, granddaughter Stephanie McConnell, grandson Kyle (Ryen) Joyce, three stepsons, Bill, Charles and Richard Plunkett, and step-grandson Bill Plunkett. Services will be at King Of Glory Church, Purdy WA at 2 p.m. on March 9, 2010.
