Minnie W. Tade died April 21, 2006 at her home in Olalla, Washington due to Cardiac Myopathy. She was 87. She was born July 7, 1918 in Chicago, Illinois to Cornelius and Mathilda (Olson) Van Baardewyk. Minnie married Manley E. Tade November 24, 1936. They were married for 52 years. He died in 1989. She worked as a Dietician Assistant for 15 years at Sharp Hospital in San Diego, California. She retired in 1981. Minnie had a faith in God that carried her through her life and because of her influence will live on for generations to come. She enjoyed tea parties, crocheting, family and spending time with her little ones. Minnie is survived by sons - Bude (Cheryl) of Grassvalley, CA., Jack (Clairon) San Diego, CA., Robert (Cheryl) Lakeside, CA, Lance (Jayme) of Alamogordo, NM; daughters - Carol Tade, Sharon (Bob) McDaniel, Sarah Jean (Dan) Simmons; 25 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren; special friend Debbie Adamson; and by nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband - Manley Eldon Tade; parents - Cornelius and Mathilda (Olson) Van Baardewyk; and sisters - Till, Joan, Fran. A memorial service will be held May 13, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Port Orchard, WA
