Mitch Davis, of Port Orchard, Washington passed away peacefully in his home on July 6th, 2024 at the age of 65. Born in Seattle Washington in September of 1958, to Leslie and Janice Davis, Mitch was the youngest of 5 children that all grew up in the Ravenna neighborhood of Seattle where Mitch graduated from the often talked about, Nathan Hale High School.
Mitch was a hard worker, starting as a dish washer at the former Italian Spaghetti House on Lake City Way which held fond memories for him. From there he worked off and on at the family ranch outside of Butte, Montana in the Big Hole Valley with some time spent in greenhouses in Great Falls, Montana where he found his passion for plants and landscaping. Mitch returned to the Seattle area and worked in the landscaping industry for 32 plus years where he was well respected by his clients for his green thumb and general knowledge of plants in the Pacific Northwest.
Well known as being a lifetime Parrot Head, Mitch constantly had Jimmy Buffett playing and went to many of his concerts. Mitch could be found sailing the sailboat the ‘Mama Loa’ that his father built in Lake Washington or in the Puget Sound especially on Carr Inlet at the family beach place, of course with Jimmy Buffett playing on the boom box.
Mitch is survived by his son Justin (wife Bobett), three of his siblings Jeanette, Stan, and Larry as well as his two grandchildren Kellan and Tucker. He was preceded in death by his parents Leslie and Jan, and his brother Don.
