Myrna Ashby

Born July 17, 1938 in Bremerton, WA to Oscar & Gudrun Ramsey. Passed away on January 25, 2016. Graduated from South Kitsap in 1956 & married classmate, William (Butch) Ashby, March 29, 1958.Together they had three sons: Bill, Bob, & Brad (deceased).Myrna lived her entire life in Kitsap Co. & for the past 49 plus years, on the family farm raising cattle. Myrna enjoyed fishing, hunting, hiking, being with family, just having fun, & laugh-filled times.Myrna was the bright spot in the family adored by all who came in contact with her. She is survived by her husband (Butch) & sons Bill (Mary) & Bob. Grandson, Chad (Leslie) & Granddaughter, Emilee; Brother, Larry Ramsey, Sister-in-laws: Bev Ramsey, Tillie Passmore (Duane) & Bek Ashby; plus nieces, nephews, & cousins. The professionalism, care, & caring provided by Kitsap Hospice, friends, & relatives greatly eased Myrna’s health issues; they can’t be thanked enough. A celebration of life will be held at the Ashby residence on Saturday, February 6th, 2-5pm.
