Nancy Lee (Heacock) Hoving, 54, of Puyallup, WA, died August 12, 2005, at Northwoods Lodge in Silverdale, WA, from complications from MS and diabetes. Nancy was born August 10, 1951, in Bremerton, WA, to Howard and Vonda Lee (Senn) Heacock. She graduated from West Bremerton High School in 1969. Nancy worked as a school bus driver for the South Kitsap School District in Port Orchard, WA, for 11 years. She later entered the nursing profession and worked as a home health care nurse and as a CNA at Valley Medical Center for 5 years. Nancy married Nickolas Hoving in Reno, NV, on October 30, 1995. She belonged to the Puget Sound Treasure Hunters Club in Tacoma and was a member of Foot Hills Evangelical Free Church in Enumclaw, WA. Nancy was raised and baptized in the Methodist church in Bremerton. She also volunteered for the NW Junior Rodeo Association and the Little Britches Rodeo, which her children participated in. Nancy enjoyed photography, especially taking and developing pictures of wildlife. She loved horses (she competed in barrel racing) and all animals. She spent time fishing, scuba diving, boating, camping, and being a cowgirl. Nancy is survived by her husband Nickolas Hoving, of Puyallup, WA; parents Howard and Vonda Lee Heacock, of North East Bremerton, WA; son Brian Finney (and wife Lilia), of Bremerton, WA; daughter Stephanie Finney, of Port Orchard, WA; sisters Connie Simonis (and husband Ron), of Keyport, WA, and Jeanette Kingsley (and husband Michael), of Camano Island, WA; and grandson Liam Finney. Nancy was preceded in death by an infant daughter in 1969. A Tribute Ceremony will be held at Rill's Life Tribute Center on Saturday, August 20, 2005, at 3:30PM.
