Nancy Lee McCracken, 55, of Port Orchard, WA, died August 7, 2002, in Broadus, MT. She was born December 18, 1946, in Tacoma Park, MD, to Trygve and Tracy Kvande. She was raised in Havre, MT, with her two sisters and one brother and graduated from Havre High in 1965.She moved to Port Orchard after graduation where she met her best friend Jack Lee McCracken. They married January 31, 1967, and started their life together in Port Orchard.Daughter Jeanne Lynn was born in 1968 and 3 years later they had their second daughter Julie Leann.Nancy was an amazing mother, the perfect wife and was the glue that held together a small business, a large family and countless friends. When it comes to grandparenting she could give anyone a run for their money. Dakota Jayms and Meagan Brynn were blessed to have her amazing love, but she would argue it was the other way around. With rich involvement at First Lutheran, Nancy was a woman who let God's light shine through her wherever she went. Mom-we love you so much and will never forget all you taught us.She is survived by her loving husband and best friend Jack Lee McCracken; daughters Jeanne Lynn and Julie Leann; sons-in-law Allen Cudahy and Jake Jefferson; grandchildren Dakota Jayms, Meagan Brynn, Ryan Paul, and Patrick Allen; parents Trygve and Tracy Kvande; sisters Sally Chvilicek and Paddy Damschen; brother Duane Kvande; brothers-in-law David Chvilicek and Barry Damschen; nieces and nephews Tracymae, Kevin, Ryan, and Carrie Jo; Aunt Bernice and Uncle Ervin Eid and their children; Aunt Helen Smith and her family; Aunt Jean Kvande along with countless other family members and those special friends that meant more to her than we could ever express. Thank you for your love and support!(This tribute was written by her daughters Jeanne and Julie.)Viewing will be Wednesday, August 14, 4PM to 8PM, at Rill Chapel. A service will be Thursday, August 15, 11:00AM at First Lutheran Church in Port Orchard.
