Nathan Nesseth

July 3, 1933 — February 14, 2012

Nathan D. Nesseth, 78 of Port Orchard, died February 14, 2012.  He was born July 3, 1933 in Williston, North Dakota to Paul & Nora (Dahle) Nesseth.  He graduated from South Kitsap High School in 1952 and married Arlene Leach on June 12, 1953 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Port Orchard. Nathan worked at the Manchester Fuel Depot, retiring in 1993.  He enjoyed fishing, bowling and hunting.  Lettering in baseball as a freshman for South Kitsap High School, he was active as an adult coaching both baseball and basketball.  He was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church since 1951. Surviving are wife Arlene; sons David (Brenda), Daniel (Helen), and Alan (Kimberly) Nesseth, all of Port Orchard; brother Murel (Joy) Nesseth of Port Orchard; grandchildren Nichole Nesseth, Kenny Maples, Seth Nesseth, Heather Nesseth, Briana Nesseth, Joshua Wade-Nesseth, Stephanie Wade-Nesseth, Nicholas Nesseth & Amanda Nesseth; great-grandchildren Callie Pursley, Isabelle Tweten, Jaxson Tweten, Kolby Tweten, Holden Maples, Landon Maples & Weston Maples. Celebration of Life Service at 1:30pm on Monday, February 20, 2012 at Rill’s Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard.  Burial follows at Sunset Lane Cemetery with a reception following at Bethany Lutheran Church in Port Orchard.
