Mrs.Nema Pearl Haymaker, Age:86, resident of Port Orchard, Washington died on February 26, 2002 after a long illness.Nema was born on September 8, 1915 in Bolivar, Missouri to Walter and Cordia(Smith) Wells. She attended elementary school in Bolivar, and then the family moved in 1939 to Belfair, Washington.Nema married Francis Haymaker on July 20, 1940. She was a Homemaker all of her adult life.Nema enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking and camping. She will be greatly missed.Nema is survived by her husband, Francis, of the family home; sons, Richard of Lakewood, Washington, Eddie of Whidbey Island, Washington; daughters, Sue Jackson and Lonnie Foote of Yellville, Arkansas; brother, Richard Wells of Shelton, Washington; sister, Jolene Bevis of Shelton; eleven grandchildren fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Jensen, one grandchild, Collena Carr(2000)and one brother, Bud Wells.A graveside service will be held at Twin Firs Cemetery in Belfair, on Tuesday, March 5, 2002, at 1:00 p.m..Arrangements are under direction of Rill Chapel, Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home in Port Orchard.
