Nick Cabalo

Nick T. Cabalo, 91 died February 17, 2002 at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Tacoma.Nick was born October 29, 1910 in the Philippine Islands to Francisco and Juliana (Aquino) Cabalo. He moved to the United States and settled in Port Orchard in 1946 where he became a farmer raising blue berries and strawberries. Nick married the former Leonila T. Casila November 18, 1964 in the Philippine Isalnds. He was a member of Saint Gabriel Catholic Church in Port Orchard, Sons and Daughters of Santa Maria, Seattle Chapter, Filippino-American Community of Kitsap County, Pacific Northwest of Ilocandia of Kitsap County, and Legionorio del Trabajo of Kitsap County. Nick is survived by his wifeLeonila of the family home Port Orchard, Daughter Jessie and her husband Mike Wadsworth of Gig Harbor, and a granddaughter Ashley Wadsworth of Gig Harbor.Viewing for Mr. Cabalo will be 5 to 7 P.M., Friday, February 22, 2002 followed by a Rosary Service at 7:00 P.M. at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard, Washington.Funeral Mass will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday February 23, 2002 at Saint Gabriel Catholic Church in Port Orchard, Washington. Concluding services and burial will be at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard.
