Nicole Mary Janssen

Nicole Janssen, 46, of Port Orchard was granted her angel’s wings and halo on Sunday, November 30th in her home. Her life was far too short but how she affected people was memorable. If you spent anytime with her at all you were graced with her amazing personality, warm sense of humor, candor speech, love of animals, large heart, and compassion. Her large smile and vibrant personality brought joy to all who knew her.
Nicole was born on January 26, 1968 in New London, Connecticut where she graduated from high school. There is where she met the love of her life and husband, Aaron Janssen. They were married December 2nd 1995. In 1998 she gave birth to her only son Zachary. They moved to Washington when Aaron was transferred by the Navy in 2008 where they purchased their first house in Port Orchard as they began to live out their dream together. Nicole's favorite place to spend time was at the beach or nail salon. Nicole was passionate about animals, sports, being pampered and loved to be surrounded by the people in her life: her family, friends and her dogs Pit Bull, Jaspa (Jasper): Chihuahua, Coco and Cats, Bubba, Luther, Baby Cat

She is survived by her soul mate and loving husband, Aaron Janssen; son Zachary Janssen; mother, Patricia Kannenberg; step father Rich Civitello, Sister Lisa Kannenberg-MacArthur, Lisa’s life partner, Ann Serio; Father-in law, Ronald Janssen; mother-in-law, Roberta Janssen; brother-in-law, Mathew Janssen; sister-in-law, Lori Janssen; niece, Meagan MacArthur; and nephew, Cody Serio.

Services will be 10:30am Friday, December 12th at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard. Please wear your favorite sports memorabilia. An online memorial and guestbook can be accessed at www.rill.com .
