Nina Bacque'

Nina J. Bacque, 79, died at her home in Port Orchard, Washington on March 28, 2006 after a very courageous battle with brain cancer. She was born on January 9, 1927 in Athabosca, Alberta, Canada to James H. & Elizabeth (Jones) Kiff. She graduated from high school in Canada in 1945 and married Daniel P. Bacque' in Victoria British Columbia on December 7, 1958. Nina was a homemaker who enjoyed volunteering as a camp host at state parks, gardening and reading. She was a nature lover and also a fantastic cook. She loved her pets Jo Jo, Sheba, Tiny, Smokey, and many others. She also served with the Canadian Army in the Dental Corps. Surviving are her loving husband Daniel of 48 years; son Paul (Pattie) Bacque' of Puyallup, Washington; daughter Annette Hutchinson of Port Orchard; and grandchildren Kristin & Steven Bacque' and Tyler Hutchinson. A Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm on April 2, 2006 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 1150 Mitchell Avenue in Port Orchard. A Life Celebration will be 11:00 am on April 3, 2006 also at St. Gabriel Catholic Church.
