Norma R. Swoboda

April 28, 1925 — March 26, 2015

Norma Swoboda looked forward to going to coffee and chatting with her friends; she enjoyed talking and being with people. She passed away March 26, 2015 in Bremerton, WA at 89 years old.

Norma Rae Swoboda was born April 28, 1925 in Omaha, NE to Elbert and Gladys Jull. She attended schools in Omaha.

She married her childhood sweetheart, Edgar Swoboda, June 8, 1945. She gave birth to sons Lee in 1947 and Gary in 1950. The family moved to Helena, MT in 1958.

Norma was proud to be a Mother and enjoyed watching her sons grow and become very successful in their careers. She loved her family and took great pride in the well-being of them all.

After Ed retired, they moved to Sequim, WA in 1996, then Bremerton, WA in 2002.

Norma was very active in her church. She always enjoyed getting to know people and her friendly nature endeared her to many.

She is survived by sons Lee (Mary) of Belfair, WA, Gary (Cheri) of Portland, OR, grandsons Ryan (Jana) of Germany; and Tim (Anna) of Lake Oswego, OR. Norma is preceded in death by her husband, Ed, and parents, Elbert and Gladys Jull.

A memorial will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 3, 2015 at Calvary Baptist Church, 4042 Kittyhawk Drive NW, Bremerton, WA. Interment will be with her husband Ed at Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, WA.
