Norman Armstrong

Norman W. Armstrong died May 15, 2003. He was 55.He was born June 12, 1947 in Aberdeen, Washington.He married Cynthia (Dahlman) Armstrong.Norman served in the U.S. Marine Corp from March 1976 - April 1978. He attained rank of Lance Corporal.He also worked in road construction for 35 years.He enjoyed hunting, fishing, rock collecting, surfing, bike riding, martial arts and motorcycle racing.Norman is survived by his wife, Cynthia Armstrong of Port Orchard, Washington; parents - Keith and Gladys Armstrong of Moclips, Washington; sons - Troy Armstrong of Kennewick, Washington, Tim Armstrong of Portland, Oregon; daughter - Tonya Armstrong-Maxon of Estacada, Oregon; brothers - William Smith, Richard Smith, Tom Armstrong, Keith Armstrong, Jr.; sister - Diane Armstrong; and, 5 grandchildren: Joseph Armstrong, Tyler Armstrong, Travis Vandehey, Michael Armstrong, and Anthony Armstrong.Services will be 1pm Friday, May 23rd at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon.
