Norman Russell Loudenback, 80, of Belfair, WA, died January 19, 2002, at home.Norman was born October 2, 1921, in Billings, MT, to Ivan and Mabel (Gatterman) Loudenback. He graduated from Hollywood High School in Hollywood, CA, in 1939.Norman served in the United States Navy from 1943 to 1945 as an Aviation Metalsmith Third Class. He received the Victory Medal WWII and the American Area Asiatic - Pacific Point System. Norman worked as an advertising manager for the Los Angeles Examiner and also owned an avocado grove. He retired in 1970.On January 25, 1980, Norman married Barbara (Ori) Loudenback in Bremerton, WA. Norman enjoyed many activities in life including fishing, cooking, and traveling with his wife.Survivors include his wife, Barbara, of Belfair, WA; stepsons, Stephen Johnson and wife Lenita, Jack Johnson and wife Kathy, and Ronald Johnson, all of Belfair; five grandchildren, Jon, Jason, Stephanie, Sena, and Jacob; and Aunt Olive Griffith, of Kauai, HI.Viewing will be Friday, January 25, from 9AM to 5PM at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard, WA, and Saturday, January 26, from 12 to 1PM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Belfair, WA. A Funeral Mass will follow at 1PM at Prince of Peace.
