Nusipepa Matila

Nusipepa Pola Matila, passed away peacefully at her home in Port Orchard, WA on November 14, 2013. She was 87 years old. She was born in Aunu’u American Samoa on Feb 21, 1926, oldest daughter of Siatumotu and Ka’alua Pola ofAunu’u. She was preceded in death by all 6 of her brothers, 4 of her 5 sisters, her husband Fei Sepetaio Matila, her sons Vaigogo Matila and Iakopo Matila, her daughters Siniva Matila and Siatumotu Wilson, and granddaughter Emma Charlene Wilson. She is survived by her sister To’atautali Tigi of Laie, Hi, and by her children; Faa’u Leau, Sinira Umi, Iopu Sepetaio, Peteru Sepetaio, Nofoaiga matila, Asofausia Fa’amuli, and Fiatu Tanny Matila. She had 12 children, 32 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Service will be held at Rill's Life Tribute Center, 1151 Mitchell Ave Port Orchard WA 98366. Viewing at 10:00 am and service at 11 am on Saturday November 23th. Burial at Sunset Lane Memorial Park, Port Orchard.
