Oleah Greseth

Oleah B. Greseth, 87 of Port Orchard, Washington died at Ridgemont Terrace on December 22, 2005. She was born in Olympia, Washington on June 13, 1918 to Everett & Sadie (Thomas) Dole. She graduated from Olympia High School in Olympia, Washington in 1936. Oleah married Glen O. Greseth on June 12, 1938. They were married 67 years and he was the only man she ever kissed - the only man she ever loved. Together they founded the Port Orchard Nursery in 1949. Oleah served as bookkeeper for the nursery, retiring after 50 years in 2000. She also worked for the Department of Agriculture during World War II. Oleah was a past member of the Soroptomist and Children's Orthopedic Guild. She loved fishing, hunting and working in the nursery. Surviving are son Waldo "E.B." (Kay) Greseth of Olalla, Washington; daughter-in-law Sandy Greseth of Port Orchard; grandchildren Jody (Lorrie), Lisa (Dave), Kim, Bret, Berry (RoAnne), Stacie, Jennifer (John) Hicks, Kyle, & Bryan Parks. She was preceded in death by son Glen E. Greseth and brothers Lyle and Henry Dole. Memorial service will be on Sunday, January 8, 2006 at 1:00pm at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard. Memorial donations may be made to Fire District 7 in Port Orchard.
