Olene Reinke

Olene Ruth ''Granny'' Reinke, 80 of Port Orchard, Washington, died at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton, Washington on August 14, 2000. She was born on August 17, 1919 in Fon Du Lac, Wisconsin to Edward J. & Berthe (Wiese) Botteen. She graduated Valedictorian from Winnebeago Lutheran Academy in Fon Du Lac in 1936 and married Emmett F. Reinke on November 26, 1938 in Fon Du Lac. He preceded her in death in 1979.Mrs. Reinke worked as a Peripheral Equipment Operator in the Data Processing Department at the Naval Supply Center in Oakland, California retiring in 1981. She was a member of Memorial Lutheran Church in Bremerton and enjoyed raising her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Surviving is her sister Alice Siebenhaar of Oshkosh, Wisconsin; sister-in-law Gail H. Botteen of Bellingham, Washington; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sons William E. Reinke, Sr. in 1982 and James E. Reinke in 1980, and her brother Edward Botteen in 1955.A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2000 at 1:00 pm at the Memorial Lutheran Church in Bremerton.
