Olive May Means died June 19, 2002 at Allenmore Hospital in Tacoma, WA. She was 82.She was born June 30, 1919 in Preston, MN. to Raymond and Anna (Baker) Barnes.She graduated from Preston High School, Preston, MN in 1936. She married William Edward Means December 28, 1938 in Chatfield, MN.Olive was a home maker and mother who loved gardening and knitting.She is survived by son Gary Edward Means of Columbus, OH., daughters Carol Oropeza of Port Orchard, WA., Barbara (and Paul) Steenvoorde of Gig Harbor, WA., Lynn (and Mike) Sekerak of Port Orchard, WA., sisters Marion Severson of Preston, MN., Shirley Krogstad of Preston, MN., and Marge Tinan of Colorado Springs, CO., brother Warren Barnes of St. Paul, MN. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
