Generous, fun-loving, kind, genuine, and loving are just a few words to describe Pamela Dee Tripplette, who passed away on May 2, 2015, in Bremerton, WA at the age of 61 after her long courageous struggle with Polycystic Kidney Disease.
Pamela Dee was born August 8, 1953 on a farm at Des Moines, Iowa to the late Elizabeth Alma (Hatwich) and Edwin Joseph Browder Jr. She started her early education at Oak Park Elementary School and Harding Junior High in Des Moines and several years after her father’s death, the family moved west to California. There, Pamela, graduated with Honors from Bellflower High School and was awarded several competitive Public Speaking and Debate awards. On her Senior year, she started training as a Certified Radiological Technologist working at St. Francis Hospital, commencing with her long dedicated career in the health industry. She loved living by nature and her career moved her around the country, from the lakes in Big Bear Lake City and Lake Isabella in California and, finally, to the forest in Bremerton and Belfair, Washington. She was hired as a Radiological Technologist at Group Health Cooperative of Puget Sound. She immediately fit in with her co-workers, was dedicated, and loved working at Group Health.
In 2000 she met her soulmate Robert Tripplette and less than two years later; they were married on the 4th of July, 2002 in Silverdale, WA. Her greatest love was spending time with her husband and her family. Raised in a household with strong women, later she became the Matriarch of the family, hosting many family gatherings, giving love to her siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins. At every chance, she passed on the family knowledge, traditions or advice, whether you wanted it or not.
Like everyone in her family, she had a tremendous sense of humor and family gatherings were always great fun. She loved to read, gardening, cook, and was a very talented seamstress, creating many beautiful keepsake blankets for the family. Those who had the opportunity to know Pamela will remember her for her loveable, silly, witty and fun-loving personality. Pamela was a very kind and gentle soul; she had a loving and generous heart, and was always giving to others.
Pamela was preceded in death by her parents Elizabeth and Edwin Browder, her sisters Barbara Jean and Sharon Kay. She is survived by beloved husband Robert Tripplette, her brother Dennis Allen and Danny Joe and numerous family members and old friends across the country.
A Celebration of her life will be on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 10:30am at Rill Chapel, Pendleton - Gilchrist Funeral Home in Port Orchard, WA. Special Thanks to the staff at Kitsap Dialysis Center for your ongoing loving care of Pam and we will always carry your memory in our hearts.

Love Lives On
Those we love remain with us
for love itself lives on,
and cherished memories never fade
because a loved one's gone.
Those we love can never be
more than a thought apart,
far as long as there is memory,
they'll live on in the heart.
