Patricia Jean Alexander

Patricia Jean Alexander, 92 of Hereford, Texas died October 1, 2016. She was born on April 2, 1924 in Portland, Oregon to Alfred E. Contryman and Martha Augusta Loretz. She married her lifetime friend, Roy Benner Alexander, he preceded her in death in 2008.

Patricia earned her college degree and worked as a Registered Nurse. She was also a caring, kind and awesome Mom. She loved her yard and was always working on it. She enjoyed going to the beach, hunting mushrooms in the mountains and going on picnics. She also liked to sew. She was active in Girl Scouting as a child and then with her kids as they grew up.

Surviving are her daughter Linda (David) Arellano of Hereford, TX; grandchildren Justin Ward of Hereford, TX, Tara Hume of Port Orchard, WA, Michael (Heather) Arellano of Amarillo, TX, Julie Moore of Amarillo, TX, and Joshua Alexander; 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Visitation on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Rill’s Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard. Graveside Service at 10:30 am on October 6, 2016 Sunset Lane Memorial Park, also in Port Orchard. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to BSA troop 87 Amarillo Tx.
