Patricia Bernier

Patricia Kay Bernier June 9, 1944 ? August 15, 2004      Patricia Kay Bernier, 60, a Belfair resident for the past two years, died peacefully in her home Sunday, August 15th of cancer.      Patricia was born June 9, 1944 to William B. and Jean P. (Wilkinson) Stark in Saginaw, Michigan. She graduated from Margaretta High School in Castalia, Ohio and attended Columbus Business University for two years.      Patricia married Paul Bernier on August 22, 1964 in Sandusky, Ohio. They had two daughters and a son together. She worked in the banking industry for 20 years as a Loan Officer, retiring in 2001 and relocating to Washington State.      Mrs. Bernier was a Roman Catholic. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and worked with Catholic Charities raising and disbursing funds. She loved flower gardening and crocheting. Her first love was being with her family, especially her grandchildren.      She is survived by her loving husband Paul, daughters Laura Jean de Guzman of Alhambra, California and Tabatha Lynn Bernier (James) of Henderson, Nevada; son William Stark Bernier (Kacia) of Belfair, Washington; sister Heather Stark of Woodinville, Washington; two grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.      A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Belfair, Washington on Thursday, August 19 at 11:00 AM. A Memorial Mass will also be held Wednesday, August 25 at 11:30 AM at St. Alphonsus Church in Peru, Ohio.      In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Toys for Tots c/o 1st Sgt.
