Patricia Lange

Patricia June Lange, 83 of Port Orchard, died July 27, 2008.  She was born September 6, 1924 in Tacoma, Washington to Dale & Gladys McCollough.  She married Edward F. Lange on April 15, 1944.  He preceded her in death in 1991.  They divorced in 1973 and neither remarried. Pat received her Nursing Degree from Olympic College and worked as an LPN for many years.  She volunteered extensively for more than 16 years with Kitsap Transit of Bremerton and also with the VFW in Port Orchard & Tacoma.  Pat was involved with HAM radio for many years and a member of the Rebels ARC.  She loved creating artwork, was proud of her Scottish heritage, enjoyed all kinds of music, especially piano, and loved to go ballroom dancing when was younger. Surviving are sons Edward Lange of Morton WA, Brad (Felecia) Lane of Home WA & Brian (Robin) Lange of Morton WA; daughters Cathy Ramsey of Gig Harbor & Dale (Donnie) Sprague of Port Orchard; brother Don (Denny) Haiman of Florence OR; sister Laurel Hortsch of Portland OR; 16 grandchildren & 26 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by sister Joanna Roland. Private family gathering is planned.
