Patrick Jimmy Gluba died May 6, 2003 at his Port Orchard, Washington residence. He was 59.He was born in Bremerton, Washington September 3, 1943 to August J. and Kate (Demianiw) Gluba.He graduated from South Kitsap High School in Port Orchard, Washington in 1961.He successfully completed an apprenticeship at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard - Bremerton, Washington in 1966.Patrick married Judith C. (McDonough) Gluba June 13, 1964 in Gig Harbor, Washington.He started at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard as a boilermaker apprentice in 1962. He worked for Shop 41 for 10 years then Shop 99 temporary services shop with pipefitters becoming a Lead Man. He worked 31 years - retiring in 1993.Patrick also worked at Boeing of Seattle for 6 months (as a riviter for nose cones).He enjoyed old cars, gardening and helping friends and relatives as a handyman.Patrick is survived by his wife, Judith C. (McDonough) Gluba, of the family home in Port Orchard, Washington; daughters - Janette S. Ryan (& husband, Terry) of Gig Harbor, Washington; Lorie Brogan (& husband, Joe) of Woodinville, Washington; sister - Amelia Karlskind (& husband, Raymond) of Mount Carroll, Illinois; 2 grandsons (Drew and Griffin Ryan of Gig Harbor, Washington).A gathering will be held Sunday, May 18, 2003, at 3:00 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, 615 Kendall, Port Orchard, Washington.
